Tim Kaine

Timothy Michael Kaine was born on February 26, 1958, in Saint Paul, Minnesota. He was raised in the Kansas City area, where he attended Rockhurst High School. Kaine went on to graduate from the University of Missouri in 1979 with a degree in economics, and later earned his Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School in 1983.

In 1998, Tim Kaine was elected as the mayor of Richmond, Virginia. During his tenure, he focused on improving the city's public schools and increasing the availability of affordable housing. Kaine's leadership was marked by efforts to revitalize Richmond and address issues of racial inequality, contributing to the city's development and integration.
