Dan Sullivan

Daniel Scott Sullivan was born on November 13, 1964, in Fairview Park, Ohio. Sullivan would go on to have a distinguished career in the United States Marine Corps and politics. He served as the Assistant Secretary of State for Economic, Energy, and Business Affairs and later became a United States Senator from Alaska.

In June 2006, Dan Sullivan joined the administration of President George W. Bush as a director in the National Security Council. Sullivan contributed to policy developments in energy and environmental sectors, leveraging his expertise in these critical areas. This tenure provided him with important federal government experience that informed his later political career.

On December 8, 2009, Dan Sullivan was appointed Commissioner of the Alaska Department of Natural Resources by Governor Sean Parnell.
