Riccione

On October 19, 1927, Riccione, which was previously part of the municipality of Rimini, was established as an independent municipality. Riccione became the center of the aquatic sports world when it hosted the World Swimming Championships starting on July 28, 2022. This prestigious event brought together athletes from various countries to compete at the highest level in swimming, diving, and synchronized swimming.
