The 2006 Winter Olympics were held in Turin, Italy, from February 10 to February 26. This event was a major global sporting competition that featured the world's best winter sports athletes from over 80 countries. The Torino Olympic Park was developed to host the games, and the city underwent significant urban improvements, including transportation infrastructure and the construction of new sports facilities.
