Liam Payne

Liam James Payne was born on August 29, 1993, in Wolverhampton, West Midlands, England. He was born three weeks early, causing health concerns and requiring frequent hospital visits as a child. Growing up, Liam showed a keen interest in performing and was associated with various local groups and clubs, which introduced him to the world of music and performance from an early age.

In 2008, 14-year-old Liam Payne auditioned for the fifth series of 'The X Factor' in front of judges Simon Cowell, Cheryl Cole, and others. Although he impressed the judges with his rendition, he did not advance due to his age but was encouraged by Simon Cowell to return in two years, a testament to his talent already evident at a young age.

On July 10th, 2010, during 'The X Factor' bootcamp stage, Liam Payne was placed into a group with four other contestants—Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, and Zayn Malik—by judge Simon Cowell. On 16 October 2024, Payne died after falling from a third-floor balcony at the CasaSur hotel in the Palermo neighbourhood of Buenos Aires, Argentina, at the age of 31
