Jochen Rindt

Jochen Rindt was born on April 18, 1942, in Mainz, Germany. He moved to Austria as a child, and although he was German by birth, he competed under the Austrian flag during his racing career. Rindt became one of the most influential figures in Formula One racing during the late 1960s, known for his fearless driving style and competitive spirit.

Jochen Rindt made his Formula One debut at the 1964 Austrian Grand Prix, racing for the Rob Walker Racing Team in a Brabham-BRM. Although he did not finish the race, he displayed remarkable talent and potential. This debut marked the beginning of Rindt's career in Formula One, where he would soon rise to prominence as one of the leading drivers of his time.

The 1965 Austrian Grand Prix marked an early career success for Jochen Rindt, as he secured victory driving a Brabham BT11.
