Edward Keddar Nketiah was born on 30 May, 1999 in Lewisham, London

At the age of nine, Eddie Nketiah's football journey began when he was scouted by Chelsea while playing for the south-east London Sunday team called Hillyfielders. However, in 2015, he was released by Chelsea, marking the end of his tenure with the club.

Eddie Nketiah, playing for Arsenal, joined the club's Academy after leaving Chelsea and made significant contributions at youth levels, earning a call-up to the first team's pre-season trip in 2017. He later had loan spells at Leeds United before returning to Arsenal, where he has made several appearances and scored goals in both domestic and European competitions.

Eddie Nketiah is eligible to play for both England and Ghana at the international level, and he has represented England in various age groups, including scoring goals for the under-19 and under-21 teams. He turned down a call-up from the Ghana national team in favor of representing England and holds the record for the most goals scored for England under-21s.
