Winter the dolphin was rescued in December 2005, but she became famous when her story was depicted in the movie 'Dolphin Tale', released in 2011. Winter was found entangled in a crab trap line near Cape Canaveral, Florida, and brought to Clearwater Marine Aquarium. Her story gained national attention due to her ability to thrive despite losing her tail, thanks to a prosthetic device.

The Clearwater Jazz Holiday is an annual music festival that began in 1979, taking place each October and featuring a variety of jazz artists. In 2016, it attracted over 30,000 jazz enthusiasts to Coachman Park, showcasing renowned performers from around the world. This event has become a staple in Clearwater's cultural scene.
