Breel Embolo

Breel Embolo was born on February 14, 1997, in Yaoundé, Cameroon. His family moved to France before finally settling in Switzerland when Embolo was only five years old. Despite his humble beginnings in Africa, Embolo showed an early passion for football and began playing the sport at a young age, leading to a successful youth career that would eventually propel him into professional football and the international stage.

Breel Embolo made his professional debut for FC Basel's first team on March 13, 2014, in a 0-0 draw against Red Bull Salzburg in the UEFA Europa League. He replaced Giovanni Sio in the 90th minute of the match. This marked the beginning of Embolo's professional career at the top level, showcasing his potential and earning a place in the squad of the Swiss Super League champions.
