Early life
Yvonne Okoro, a Ghanaian-Nigerian actress, is proud of her African heritage and hails from a large family, being the first child of her mother and the fifth among her siblings. She pursued her passion for acting from a young age and attended various schools, including Achimota Preparatory School, Lincoln Community School, Faith Montessori School, Mfantsiman Girls Secondary School, University of Ghana (where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Linguistics), and Universite de Nantes in France (where she studied Press Civilization, Drama, and Marketing).

Career
She began her acting career in 2002 with a film produced by Theo Akatugba, followed by a cameo in the series Tentacles, and now hosts the celebrity cooking show Dinning with Cooks and Braggarts, where famous individuals share their cooking techniques and engage in conversations.

Philanthropy
In 2019, she made a donation to the Ghanaian Black Queens team prior to the 2019 WAFA tournament, and at the beginning of 2020, she also contributed items to the maternity ward of the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital.

During an interview with Accra-based radio Peace FM, she revealed that she is the owner of Desamour Company Limited, in addition to being involved in other transportation businesses.
