William Atuguba is a former justice of the Supreme Court of Ghana.
Atuguba was first enrolled as a magistrate on 3 October 1974
Prior to President Rawlings' 1995 appointment as a Supreme Court Judge, he practiced law in private practice, worked as a prosecutor, and held the position of state attorney.
He was the Presiding Judge during the 2012 election petition in Ghana
While Justice Georgina Theodora Woode was away from the country on official business in 2016, he served as the interim Chief Justice
He had held the position of Supreme Court judge with the most experience. He assumed the role of Chief Justice on February 21, 2017.
