Mubarak Wakaso is a Ghanaian footballer who plays for Belgian club Eupen.
Mubarak Wakaso, who was born in Tamale, Ghana, began playing football at a very young age. He became a member of the Ashanti Gold SC club and rapidly established himself as a strong player. Foreign scouts were drawn to his remarkable performances, and he quickly signed with the Italian team Reggina Calcio. He had trouble adjusting to Italian football, though, and spent most of his time there on loan from other teams.
In a game against Chile, Mubarak Wakaso made his debut for Ghana at the international level. He soon made a name for himself on the team and was an integral part of the side that advanced to the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations final.
Mubarak Wakaso committed to playing for Espanyol in Spain. He had an instant effect on the squad, scoring on his debut and soon establishing himself as a major member. He made 31 appearances during his first season and scored four goals, which helped the squad avoid relegation.
