Vida Anim is a Ghanaian sprinter who specializes in the 100 and 200 metres.
In addition to her success at the World Championships, Vida Anim also participated in the Olympic Games. She represented Ghana in the 2004 Athens Olympics and the 2008 Beijing Olympics, competing in both the 100-meter and 200-meter events.
Anim's career also included participation in the African Championships, where she won multiple medals. She clinched the gold medal in the women's 200 meters at the 2004 African Championships in Brazzaville, Republic of Congo. Furthermore, she won the silver medal in the women's 200 meters at the 2006 African Championships held in Bambous, Mauritius.
At the Beijing Summer Olympics in 2008, Vida Anim competed in the 100-meter sprint for Ghana. She finished second in her first round heat behind Shelly-Ann Fraser in a time of 11.47 and moved on to the second round.
