Early life

Van Vicker, a well-known actor, was born in Accra, Ghana, to a Ghanaian-Liberian mother and a Dutch father. Sadly, his father passed away when he was only six years old. He attended Mfantsipim School, where he crossed paths with fellow actor Majid Michel, and later graduated from the African University College of Communications in 2021.

Van Vicker began his entertainment career in radio and television, hosting shows on Groove 106.3 FM and Vibe 91.9 FM, as well as working as a television personality for TV3 Ghana and Metro TV, before gaining recognition through his role as LeRoy King Jr., a Fine Arts student, in the Ghanaian television series "Sun City," which aired for 10 episodes and depicted university life.
