Enoch Nana Yaw Oduro-Agyei, better known as Trigmatic, is a Ghanaian singer, rapper, songwriter, and radio personality. He was born on December 13, 1984, in Accra, Ghana.
Growing up in a musical family in Accra, Trigmatic developed a profound passion for music and storytelling from an early age. He attended Homecare Nursery School and later St. Martin de Porres for his early education. After completing his Junior High education in 2000, he enrolled at St. Martin de Porres Senior High School in Nsawam Adoagyiri, where he continued to nurture his musical talents.
Trigmatic's musical journey gained momentum during his time in high school, where he actively participated in all musical events organized by the school. After high school, he pursued a diploma in database administration and a professional certificate in marketing. However, his passion for music eventually led him to the media and entertainment industry full-time.During this period, Trigmatic won Vibe FM's Lyricist Lounge and became a renowned battle rapper. In 2007, he released a street mixtape titled 'Stain on a Cloth,' which marked the beginning of his exploration of different music genres, including Dancehall and Reggae.
In 2009, Trigmatic joined Yfm, a prominent urban radio station in Accra, where he hosted a Saturday show called 'Y Express.' Under new management in 2010, he released his first major album, "Permanent Stains," which featured hit singles like "My Life," "Mefiri Ghana," and "My Jolly." The album garnered several nominations and awards, including the Best Rapper of the Year at the Ghana Music Awards in 2011.
Trigmatic's nationwide high school tours and philanthropic endeavors, including establishing his own label, Da Trig Entertainment (now Matic Multimedia), earned him recognition and awards for his contributions to youth empowerment and music.
Apart from his music career, Trigmatic is also known for his philanthropic activities. In 2014, he launched the Matic Foundation, which supports orphanages in Ghana. He also attempted a world record by creating the longest charity table to feed thousands in his country. Trigmatic is the Food for All Ghana ambassador, championing the feeding of millions in Ghana and other philanthropic initiatives.
Trigmatic's discography includes albums like "Stains on a Cloth Mixtape" (2007), "Permanent Stains" (2010), "SOUL-u-TIONS" (2011), "M.A.T.I.C" (2017), "The 8th Element" (2019), and "The Pipeano EP" (2021).
Throughout his career, Trigmatic has won over 11 national and international awards and received 30 nominations. His awards include Best Rapper of the Year (2011), Record of the Year at the Ghana Music Awards (2014), and Best Dancehall Song of the Year at the Bass Awards (2014), among others.
