Early Life

Tracey Boakye was born on January 17, 1991, at the Okomfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Kumasi, Ghana. Hailing from Aduman in the Ashanti Region, she grew up as the only daughter of her parents. However, she also has eight stepsiblings, five from her mother's side and three from her father's side. At the age of 16, she began living with her grandmother while her mother resided in the UK, and her father lived in Canada.

Educational Background

Tracey initially attended Glory Vel School in Kumasi before moving to Oniwaa Memorial International School. However, she later joined her father in Canada and subsequently relocated to the UK to be with her mother. There, she completed grade 8 in Essex. Upon returning to Ghana at age 16, she continued her education at Angel Educational Complex (SHS) but decided to leave school during SHS 2. She later pursued a three-month acting course at Ghallywood Africa Film Academy in Accra.

Career

Tracey Boakye nurtured her passion for acting from an early age. Despite her mother's advice to finish high school first, she dropped out at the age of sixteen to pursue a career in acting. Her first breakthrough came when she auditioned for a movie called "Cicera." Impressed by her talent, film producer Clement Amankwah Opam featured her in the film. Tracey has appeared in over seventy movies and has established her own production company.
