Tonto Dikeh had a traditional marriage to Olakunle Churchill in August 2015, was rumored to have been in a sexual relationship with Rukky Sanda in 2014, gave birth to her son in February 2016, but has since separated from Churchill, and in October 2021, she became involved in controversy by accusing her ex-lover, Joseph Egri (Prince Kpokpogri), of possessing explicit content of dancer Janemena on his phone following their messy breakup.

Music career

After establishing herself as an actress, Tonto Dikeh ventured into music and appeared in a music video for Amaco Investments, released her debut singles "Hi" and "Itz Ova" featuring Snypa, signed to D'banj's DB Records in June 2014, and later announced her departure from the record label in March 2015.

Personal life

Tonto Dikeh, the third of five children from a family of seven in Obio-Akpor, Rivers State, of Ikwerre descent, lost her mother at the age of 3 and was raised by her step-mother, studied petrochemical engineering at Rivers State University, and faced a legal battle with her ex-fiancé, Prince Joseph Kpokpogri, who accused her of threatening his rights and cited her smoking and drinking habits as reasons for ending their relationship.
