Ted Lieu

Ted W. Lieu was born on March 29, 1969, in Taipei, Taiwan. He immigrated to the United States, where he grew up and eventually became a prominent political figure. Lieu is an American attorney and politician who serves as the U.S. representative for California's 33rd congressional district since 2015.

On January 3, 2015, Ted Lieu was sworn in as the U.S. representative for California's 33rd congressional district. He succeeded Henry Waxman and has since been serving in this position.
