Sylvanus Nkiru

Sylvanus born on April 21, 1982, in Osisioma, Aba, a city in Abia State, Nigeria. She completed her primary and secondary education at Ohabiam Primary and Secondary School, obtaining her first school leaving certificate and West African Senior School Certificate. Eager to pursue her passion for mass communication, Sylvanus enrolled at the Enugu State University of Science and Technology, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in mass communication.

At the age of 17, Sylvanus embarked on her acting journey, marking the beginning of a successful career that spanned over two decades. With an impressive filmography comprising more than seventy movies, Sylvanus showcased her versatility and talent, earning recognition and admiration from audiences and critics alike. Her outstanding performances led to several accolades, including the prestigious awards for Best Actress of the Year at the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards and Best Actress in a Leading Role at the Africa Movie Academy Awards.

After a harrowing experience, Sylvanus was released on December 21, 2012, following intense efforts from law enforcement and negotiations.

Aside from her successful acting career, Sylvanus ventured into politics and made a significant impact in Imo State, Nigeria. In 2011, she was appointed as the Special Assistant on Lagos State Affairs to former Governor Rochas Okorocha. Later, she became the Special Adviser on Public Affairs, utilizing her skills to contribute to public administration and governance.
