Strongman Burner

Strongman Burner, born Osei Kwaku Vincent, on February 10, 1993, in Kumasi, Ghana, discovered his love for music at a young age.

Strongman began honing his rap skills during his school days at T.I Ahamadiya Senior High School, participating in rap battles and freestyle sessions, where he showcased his innate talent and captivated audiences with his lyrical dexterity.

Strongman Burner catapulted into the limelight with consecutive victories, winning the "Focus FM Freestyle Friday" in 2010, the "Kfm Freestyle Saturday" in 2011, and the esteemed "The Next Big Thing In Gh Hip-hop" competition by GHOne in 2012. His unmatched creativity has earned him the esteemed reputation as Ghana's most innovative rapper.

During his participation in "The Next Big Thing" competition, Strongman Burner pursued his higher education at the University of Cape Coast (UCC), where he focused on studying management.

Strongman Burner's music is characterized by his exceptional storytelling ability, intricate wordplay, and social commentary. His lyrical depth allows him to delve into a wide range of subjects, from personal experiences to societal issues, effectively resonating with listeners across different generations. This caught the attention of MicBurnerz Music record label owned by Kumasi-based record producer, Azee Ntwenee. He later joined Sarkcess Music owned by Africa’s most decorated rapper, Sarkodie.

Since his breakthrough, Strongman Burner has achieved several significant milestones in his career. His debut album, "Still That Ni99a," released in 2018, received critical acclaim and spawned hit singles such as "Monster" and "Baby Girl." He has collaborated with numerous notable artists both within Ghana and internationally, including Sarkodie, Medikal, and Kwesi Arthur, further cementing his position in the industry.In 2018 he was nominated for the Best Rapper at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards and won the Best Male Rapper at the Ghana Actors And Entertainers Awards in 2019.
