Stephen Kwabena Opuni is a Ghanaian health practitioner and a former chief executive officer of the Ghana Cocoa Board.
Born in Sunyani, Ghana, in 1966, Stephen Kwabena Opuni served as the Brong Ahafo Regional Secretary. Born in Sunyani, Ghana, Opuni's upbringing was influenced by his father's involvement in politics as the Brong Ahafo Regional Secretary of Kwame Nkrumah's Convention People's Party (CPP). Opuni's professional journey led him to the helm of the Ghana Cocoa Board, which was appointed by former President John Dramani Mahama in November 2013. Before this role, Opuni served as the head of the Food and Drugs Authority.
