San Carlos de Bariloche

The Patagonian Andean Club of Bariloche, created on February 25, 1998, is a leading organization promoting outdoor sports and environmental stewardship. The club organizes activities such as mountaineering, rock climbing, skiing, and other nature-based sports. It plays a vital role in educating the public about the unique landscapes of Patagonia and the importance of preserving them for future generations.

The Nahuel Huapi Sub-Antarctic Institute was established in Bariloche on October 29, 1995.
