Sammy Forson is a Ghanaian-Zambian media personality, broadcast journalist, DJ, artist manager, Entrepreneur, and Music award judge.

Sammy Forson, whose parents are from Ghana, was born in Agona Swedru and then traveled to Zambia before returning to Ghana at the age of sixteen.
At Swedru Secondary School, he finished his secondary education.He later received admission to the Ghana Institute of Journalism, where he earned degrees in Chartered Institute of Marketing (Ghana) and a Diploma in Radio Broadcasting.
Sammy Forson began his career as a broadcaster at Garden City Radio in Kumasi. He later moved to Citi FM (97.3) in Ghana, where he oversaw the Citi Drive and Citi Countdown shows. He had a brief stint as a co-host of the Upside Down Show. In 2009, he left Ghana's Citi FM (97.3) and switched to YFM.He joined Live 91.9 FM after leaving YFM.He began working for Joy FM in January 2018, a station owned and operated by Multimedia Group Limited, a media conglomerate.
He was nominated in 2013 for "Best Music Promoter of the Year" at the Ghana DJ Awards for his mid-morning program Lifestyle Cafe on Live 91.9 FM, which he ultimately won.While employed by YFM 107.9, Sammy Forson was named Radio Mid Morning Host of 2012.
He left Live 91.9 FM on the EIB Network in January 2018 after a three-year run and is now the anchor of Joy FM's lunchtime program, colloquially known as Ignition and Overdrive. Sammy is the host of Joy 99.7 FM's The Weekend City program on Saturday mornings.Sammy Forson also served as the business manager for the 2012 BET Awards winner and 15-time Ghana Music Award winner
