Rocky Dawuni

Rocky was born on March 22, 1969, in Accra, Ghana.

Rocky Dawuni, a Ghanaian musician, discovered his love for reggae when he heard a military band perform one of Bob Marley's songs in his childhood home of Michel Camp. He has released eight albums, with his sixth studio album, "Branches of The Same Tree," earning him a Grammy nomination for Best Reggae Album in 2015. Dawuni's music combines influences from Fela Kuti and Bob Marley, delivering uplifting messages, and he has been recognized as a multi-Grammy nominee in recent years.
