Rita Dominic, who began her acting career as a child in Imo State, has since starred in numerous films and produced several movies, including "A Time to Kill," "The Therapist," "Light in the Dark," "Bound," "The Blindspot," and "Desecration," earning various honors such as Top Actress for "The Meeting" in 2013 and 2017, Best Actress in a TV series, and the Most Outstanding Actress at the City People Awards in 2004, with a prolific filmography exceeding 100 Nollywood productions.

Rita Dominic, a highly accomplished actress in Nollywood, is recognized as one of the industry's best and highest-paid actresses in Nigeria, currently serving as a GLO Ambassador and the CEO of Rita Dominic Productions; hailing from the Royal Nwaturuocha family, she is the youngest of four children, and her parents were healthcare professionals, with her father being a medical doctor and her mother a nursing officer, while she pursued her education at the Federal Government College and the University of Port Harcourt, graduating with a BA (Honours) Degree in Theatre Arts in 1999.

Rita Dominic called for the prosecution of Idris Ebiloma for allegedly raping a 15-month-old child in 2016, later announcing her engagement to Fidelis Anosike in April 2022 and holding their traditional wedding in Imo State, followed by a white wedding in England in November 2022.
