Richard Sefe was born on Wednesday, 11th October 1972, in Anloga, in the Volta region of Ghana.
Richard Kwame Sefe embarked on a life journey marked by notable academic achievements, including a Commonwealth Executive Master in Business Administration (General) in 2012, a BED in Psychology (Educational Psychology) in 2003, a PS Training Certificate A (Teaching) in 1996, a GCE A Level in 2000, a GCE O Level in 1992, and an MSLC in 1987.
Richard Sefe served within the Ghana Education Service where he worked as a teacher, ultimately rising to the position of Deputy Director.
Richard Kwame Sefe is a staunch member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC). In the 2020 general election, he put his name forward as the NDC candidate for the Anlo Constituency. His win was by a significant majority, with 32,920 votes in his favor. This triumph marked a shift in leadership from Clement Kofi Humado, who had been the Member of Parliament for the region since January 2005.
