In April 2014, the Protaras Easter Music Festival filled the town with the sound of choirs and bands celebrating Easter through music. The festival included performances from local church choirs, school bands, and invited international groups, bringing together communities to celebrate through diverse musical acts, ranging from gospel to classical Easter hymns.

The Protaras Science and Tech Expo in 2015 was an impressive display of innovation and futuristic technology. Exhibits included robotics, virtual reality, and renewable energy solutions. The expo aimed to inspire young minds and encourage entrepreneurship in the fields of science and technology, featuring keynotes from industry leaders and interactive workshops.

The 2016 Protaras Arts and Crafts Fair was a vibrant celebration of local artisans and craft makers. Featuring unique handmade goods, ranging from pottery to textiles, the fair provided a platform for craftsmen to showcase their work. It also included workshops for adults and children, promoting the continuation of traditional Cypriot crafts and skills.

The Protaras Marine Conservation Conference of 2017 brought together scientists, conservationists, and policy makers to discuss critical issues facing marine biodiversity in the Mediterranean. Topics included pollution, sustainable fishing practices, and marine protected areas. The conference aimed to foster collaboration and develop action plans for preserving the marine environment.

The Protaras International Dance Show in 2018 captivated audiences with breathtaking performances from dance troupes around the world. Styles ranged from traditional folk dances to modern contemporary pieces, showcasing a wide array of cultures. The event was part of an annual summer festival series, attracting tourists and locals alike to enjoy the dynamic performances.

The 2019 Protaras Music Gala was a spectacular event featuring renowned musicians and orchestras from across Europe. The gala was hosted in the beautiful Protaras Amphitheater and was attended by music lovers and VIP guests. With performances ranging from classical to contemporary pieces, the gala was a key highlight in the cultural calendar of the town.

Held in June 2020, the Protaras Food and Drink Festival celebrated the culinary diversity and innovation of Cyprus. Featuring more than 100 local vendors and international chefs, the event highlighted traditional Cypriot dishes and contemporary fusion cuisine. Visitors enjoyed tastings, cooking demonstrations, and wine pairings in a lively outdoor setting.

In 2021, Protaras hosted its Annual Cultural Symposium, which gathered cultural anthropologists, historians, and enthusiasts to discuss and present on the topic of Mediterranean cultural heritage. The event featured lectures, workshops, and storytelling sessions. Attendees from various countries participated, sharing rich cultural traditions and insights.

The Protaras Summer Film Festival in 2022 was an incredible showcase of films from around the world, held in the stunning open-air venue near Fig Tree Bay. It highlighted both indie and blockbuster movies, and included talks and panel discussions with filmmakers. The serene backdrop of the sea added to the magical experience for attendees.

The Protaras Beach Festival of 2023 was a grand celebration showcasing the vibrant culture and music of the region. It featured local and international artists, traditional food stalls, and a variety of activities including beach games and cultural exhibits. Thousands of tourists and locals gathered for the event, making it one of the most attended events in Protaras that year.
