Prophet Emmanuel Kobi Badu

In February 2019, a prominent member of the New Patriotic Party, Abronye DC, accused him of consistently making false prophecies, leading to doubts about his authenticity as a pastor and prophet.

In July 2019, he faced severe backlash from both Parliament and the Christian Council of Ghana for using derogatory language against Ashanti and Fanti women. His comments were deemed bigoted and lawless, sparking debates about the role of religious leaders in promoting unity and respect.

Prophet Emmanuel Kobi Badu is married to Gloria Badu Kobi, a fellow Ghanaian from the Ashanti Region. Together, they have a son named Daniel Kenneth Badu Kobi, who sadly passed away at the age of 19 after a brief illness. His funeral was attended by high-ranking members of society, including former President John Dramani Mahama and other respected figures in the religious community.
