Praye, a captivating Ghanaian hiplife trio, comprising Eugene Baah (Praye Ho Ne Ho), Steven Fiawoo (Praye Tiatia), and Nana Kwame (Praye Tenten), has taken the African music scene by storm. Formed during the inaugural edition of the Nescafe African Revelation contest in Ghana, the group's name, "Praye," which means "broom" in English, symbolizes unity within the Ghanaian community and embodies their vision of blending diverse talents.

Praye's remarkable journey began when they emerged as winners of the Nescafe African Revelation contest in Ghana and went on to clinch the title at the West African grand finale. This victory catapulted them into the limelight, introducing them as a talented trio with immense potential. Their ability to infuse witty and poetic lyrics into their music instantly won the hearts of many Ghanaians and beyond.

Following their triumphant start, Praye released their highly anticipated debut album, "Mfitiasee." The album's lead single, "My Shoddy," became an instant hit, not only in Ghana but across the African continent. "Mfitiasee" topped the music charts in Ghana for several weeks, solidifying their position as one of the most entertaining groups in Africa.

Praye's exceptional talent and charisma earned them numerous accolades. They secured a prestigious Kora Music Award for Best Group in West Africa, showcasing their influence and recognition on a regional scale. At the 2006 Ghana Music Awards, the group was honored with two awards: New Artiste of the Year and Hiplife Song of the Year for their hit track, "My Shoddy."

Buoyed by their initial success, Praye continued to thrive in the music industry. Their second album, "Tha Bomb," released under their record label Broomx Entertainment, further solidified their prominence. The album received widespread acclaim and earned them another Ghana Music Award for Best Hiplife Album in 2007.
