Patricia Appiagyei's entry into politics was marked by her appointment as Deputy Minister for the Ashanti region from 2001 to 2005. Her remarkable work in this role led to her subsequent appointment as Deputy Ashanti Regional Minister in 2005. Patricia Appiagyei is the Member of Parliament (MP) representing the Asokwa Constituency.
