Patience Ozokwor is a Nigerian veteran musician, fashion designer, gospel singer, and actress.
Patience Ozokwor was born in September 14, 1958
Before she became an actor, she worked as a broadcaster and announcer for Radio Nigeria. She became well-known for her part in the 1999 film Authority, and the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA)'s Someone Cares was the setting for her debut TV drama. Since becoming well-known, she has appeared in more than 100 films as an actor.
Patience Ozokwor, born in Amaobo, Ngwo, Nigeria, has been passionate about acting since childhood. She attended Abimbola Gibson Memorial School and earned a degree in fine and applied arts at the Institute of Management and Technology in Enugu. Ozokwor appeared in the soap opera "Someone Cares" and married at 19 but lost her husband in 2000.
At the 10th Africa Movie Academy Awards, she was honored with the Best Supporting Actress 2012 and 2013 trophies. She is renowned for playing nasty women in some of her films. When the northern and southern protectorates merged in 2014, Patience Ozokwor was one of the top 100 Nigerians honored by the government. She received the Merit Award on May 20, 2023, at the Africa Magic Viewers' Choice Awards.
As Madam Pat, she most recently appeared in Mo Abudu's Chief Daddy (2018) and Chief Daddy 2: Going for Broke (2022) on Netflix.
She married at the age of 19, and her husband passed away from a serious illness.She has five adopted children, grandchildren, and three biological children. Additionally, she is a licensed evangelist.
