Description of my timeline
Paa Kwesi Nduom, also known as Papa Kwesi Nduom, was born on February 15, 1953, in Elmina, Ghana. He completed his secondary education at St. Augustine's College in Cape Coast, obtaining General Certificate of Education (GCE) Ordinary and Advanced Levels. He continued his studies in the United States, earning a Bachelor of Arts (Economics) degree from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee in 1975, followed by a Master's degree in Management in 1977 and a Ph.D. in Service Delivery Systems in 1982, both from the same university.
Nduom began his career as a life insurance underwriter, later working in various roles, including budget and management analyst, consultant, and partner at Deloitte and Touche. He served on the boards of Fan Milk Ghana Limited, Edinaman Secondary School, and the Ghana Heritage and Conservation Trust. He is involved in GN Savings and Loans and owns Groupe Ndoum and Coconut Grove Resort in Ghana.
In 1997, Paa Kwesi Nduom started his political journey as a member of the Komenda-Edina-Eguafo-Abirem District Assembly. He later contested parliamentary elections in 2000, was appointed as a minister by President John Kufuor, and eventually won a parliamentary seat in 2004. Subsequently, he ran for president in the 2008 elections, founded the Progressive People's Party in 2012, and became their presidential candidate in the 2012 and 2016 elections.
Nduom is married to Yvonne Nduom, and they have four children: Nana Kweku, Edjah, Chief, and Nana Aba. Nana Kweku is married to Esinam Julia, and Edjah is married to Kelley.
