Osei Bonsu Amoah is a Ghanaian politician representing the Akwapim South Constituency in the Eastern Region of Ghana.
Born on August 15, 1961, Amoah He is from the town of Aburi in Ghana's Eastern Region.[6] He attended the elite Prempeh College for his secondary education before receiving his Bachelor of Science in Law from the University of Ghana in 1985.He graduated with a Bachelor of Law from the Ghana School of Law in 1995.
Between 1988 and 1996, Amoah served as the IRS's Inspector of Taxes before being appointed to the House of Representatives. He worked from 2001 to 2005 as the Special Assistant in the President's Office.
He is a New Patriotic Party Member. He now represents the Akwapim South Constituency in the House of Representatives.
He presided over the Ghanaian Parliament's Subsidiary Legislative Committee in 2016.He is a member of the Subsidiary Legislation Committee, the Standing Rules Committee, and the Appointments Committee.
At the moment, he serves as the minister for rural development, decentralization, and local government.
He is a Christian and is married to a prominent lawyer who has three children.
