Oritsefemi Majemite Ekele popularly known by his first name Oritse Femi, is a Nigerian singer-songwriter and performer
Oritsefemi Majemite Ekele was born on 5 January 1985 He was born and raised in a polygamous family of 25 in Ajegunle as the third child of his mother. He is from the North Warri Itsekiri tribe in Delta State.
He briefly attended Mayday Secondary School in Ikoyi before transferring to Tolu Primary School in Ajegunle since his parents couldn't afford the expensive tuition in the posh area of Ikoyi. Army Children School is where he finished his elementary schooling. After graduating from Randle Secondary School, he applied to Delta State University in Abraka to study law, but he left to focus on his music career.
He expanded his musical abilities while in school and gave performances at get-togethers and parties.
The smash single "Double Wahala" by Oritsefemi is a cover of the same-named Fela Kuti song.
