Jerry Anaabaa also known as Okomfour Kwaadee is a Ghanaian musician
Jerry Anaabaa (Okomfour Kwaadee) is a native of Navrongo in Ghana's Upper East. Prior to attending Navrongo Senior Secondary School in Kumasi, he attended Martyrs of Uganda Preparatory School
His goal of becoming a musician began at an early age. His wishes were granted thanks to Vybetown Records, a division of the Kumasi-based entertainment consultancy Vybetown Entertainment Consult
His creativity was displayed on his debut album, "Kwaadee," which also served as the title track. He raised the bar for hiplife with his strong, traditional lyrics that are distinctly representative of the authentic Ghanaian. In the first of its kind, Okomfoo returns to the roots, narrating tales in rhyme (much like anansesem). Everyone, young and old, was mesmerized by this new approach as it imparted really helpful knowledge and guidance to the listeners
He received the Ghana Music Award for Best Original Song/Lyrics in 2007 with his song Ka Wonan To Su. Okomfour was thought to have had a mental ailment during this time. However, he has totally recovered and will shortly release a new record.
