Nancy Pelosi

Nancy Patricia D'Alesandro was born on March 26, 1940, in Baltimore, Maryland. She was born into a politically active family; her father, Thomas D'Alesandro Jr., was a Democratic congressman and later mayor of Baltimore. She followed in her family's political footsteps, eventually becoming a prominent figure in American politics.
