Nana Ama Dokua Asiamah-Adjei was born on Saturday, 24th July 1982, in Akropong in the Eastern Region of Ghana to Nana Osae Nyampong IV and Mrs. Aforo Asiamah-Adjei.
Nana Ama attended Alsyd Academy, followed by her senior high school years at St. Roses Senior High School. Her thirst for knowledge led her to the University of Ghana, Legon, where she pursued a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. She later obtained a Master's Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain from Exeter University in the United Kingdom. Her commitment to education continued with a Master's degree in Peace and Security from the prestigious Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping Training Centre (KAIPTC).
Nana Ama Dokua Asiamah-Adjei served as the Managing Director for Bekleen Limited from 2007 to 2016 and Pongas Limited from 2007 to 2015.
Oheneba Dokua Asiamah-Adjei is a member of the New Patriotic Party, for the Akuapem North Constituency. In the 2016 election, she emerged as the winner with 26,655 votes, securing 62.3% support for the NPP (New Patriotic Party). The other candidates included Asiedu-Ofei, an independent candidate with 9,092 votes (21.2%), Yaw Appiah-Kubi of the NDC (National Democratic Congress) with 6,949 votes (16.2%), and Gifty Mercy Anakwa of the CPP (Convention People's Party) with 102 votes (0.2%).
Nana Ama Dokua Asiamah-Adjei is currently serving her second term as the Member of Parliament for the Akuapem North Constituency.
