Early life and education

Sukparu was born on January 6, 1985. He is from Bouti in the Sissala West District of Ghana's Upper West Region. He attended the University of Professional Studies Accra (UPSA). He was a dynamic student leader, including serving as the president of the Private Universities Students Association of Ghana (PUSAG) and as Ghana's representative to the All-Africa Students Union (ASSU).

Politics

In August 2019, Sukparu secured the NDC's parliamentary candidacy for Sissala West Constituency ahead of the 2020 elections, winning with 345 votes against two opponents. In the December 2020 parliamentary elections, he clinched victory with 52.54% of the vote, defeating Naliwie Baluwie Salifu of the New Patriotic Party.
