Mitchell Dijks

Mitchell Dijks was born on February 9, 1993, in Purmerend, Netherlands. He grew up in the Netherlands where he developed an interest in football from an early age. Dijks began his football journey in the youth ranks in his hometown before moving to the youth academy of the renowned club Ajax Amsterdam at the age of 15. His talent as a defender was recognized early, leading him to play for one of the biggest clubs in Netherlands.

Mitchell Dijks made his debut for Ajax Amsterdam, one of the premier Dutch football clubs, on August 5, 2012. Dijks was promoted to Ajax's first team and played his first match in the Johan Cruyff Shield, a prestigious Dutch football competition. This marked the beginning of his professional football career at the top level in Dutch football, showcasing his skills as a promising left-back.

In August 2014, Mitchell Dijks transferred to Willem II, a professional football club in the Netherlands, seeking more regular first-team playing opportunities.
