Mavis Nkansah Boadu served as an international student ambassador for Devry University-New York between 2015 and 2016. During this time, she undoubtedly gained valuable experience and honed her skills. Furthermore, her career includes an internship as a human resource assistant at Kinsadus Company LTD from 2012 to 2012, showcasing her commitment to personal and professional growth.

Political Career

At the age of 26 in July 2015, Mavis Nkansah Boadu clinched a significant victory by winning the New Patriotic Party's primaries. She triumphed over the then-incumbent Member of Parliament, the late Hennric David Yeboah, who had served for two terms before his defeat. Her success didn't stop there. In the 2016 General Election, she secured a resounding victory, becoming the Member of Parliament for the Afigya Sekyere East constituency. She obtained 41,694 votes, representing 80.44% of the total votes, as opposed to her closest contender, Awudu Salim of the National Democratic Congress, who garnered 10,141 votes, accounting for 19.56%.

In the 2020 General Election, Mavis Nkansah Boadu was re-elected to represent the Afigya Sekyere East constituency in the 8th Parliament of the Fourth Republic of Ghana.
