Kwesi Pratt Jnr

He was born on February 11, 1952, in Ghana. Pratt has been involved in journalism and media for several decades, and he is well-known for his outspoken views on social and political issues in Ghana.

Kwesi was a member of the Alliance for Change, the organizers of the 1995 Kume Preko anti-government demonstration. This demonstration has become an integral part of the history of Ghana. The demonstration was led by Dr. Charles Wereko Brobbey. The protest took place in opposition to the Value Added Tax (VAT) initiative, which was introduced under the Jerry John Rawlings administration. It is said to have been one of the biggest protests ever organized in the country, with an estimated 100,000 people participating.

Kwesi Pratt is a member of the Convention People's Party (CPP) and has held a number of positions within the organization, including chairman of the party's publicity committee since 2006.[6]
