Kwaku Agyemang-Manu is a Ghanaian politician. He is the Member of Parliament for Dormaa Central and the Minister of Health.
Agyeman-Manu was born in Dormaa Ahenkro, in what is now the Bono Region but was then the Brong Ahafo Region.He completed his G.C.E. Ordinary Level and, in 1975, his G.C.E. Advanced Level. He became an Associate Member and Chartered Management Accountant in 1990.[8] and graduated from the University of Ghana in 1979 with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Statistics. Additionally, he received his degree in management accounting from the London School of Accounting.
Agyeman-Manu, a New Patriotic Party representative, served as the National Health Authority's acting CEO and deputy minister of finance and economic planning. He has held board positions with organizations like the Bank of Ghana, the Divestiture Implementation Committee, the Ghana Revenue Authority, and the Small Arms Commission of Ghana.
At both Toyota Ghana Company Limited and Ghamot Company Limited, he served as the director of finance. He served as MIM Timber Company Limited's deputy chief accountant as well.
Kwaku Agyemang-Manu was named as one of nineteen ministers in Ghana's cabinet, aiding in key decision-making policies and part of the President's inner circle.
Hon. Kwaku Agyeman-Manu, Ghana's Minister of Health, has been appointed to the World Health Organization's executive board. His good work and technical competence have led to his high ranking appointment. Agyeman-Manu is one of seven Africans representing their countries to support the executive board in May 2020.
