Kwabena Donkor, a Ghanaian politician, resigned as Minister for Power in 2015 and he currently serves as the Member of Parliament for Pru East constituency.
Donkor, born on February 5, 1958, in Lonto via Yeji, Ghana, holds a PhD and master's from the University of Bristol, as well as an MBA from Lancaster University.
Donkor held various prominent roles in Ghana's government, including Deputy Minister of Information, CEO of the Petroleum Commission, Cabinet Minister, and currently represents the Pru East Constituency for the National Democratic Congress in the Parliament of Ghana.
Donkor won the Pru East constituency seat in the 2016 and 2020 Ghanaian general elections with significant voter support.
Donkor holds key positions in Ghana's Parliament, serving as the Ranking Member of the Employment, Social Welfare, and State Enterprises Committee, as well as a member of the Standing Orders Committee and the Mines and Energy Committee.
