Early life
Korede, meaning "Bring Fortune" in English, was born in Lagos State. He successfully completed his primary and secondary education in the same region. At the tender age of 7, he embarked on his journey as a performer, adopting the stage name African Prince.

In 2017, Korede launched his debut album titled "Belloved." Notably, in 2016, his popular track "Do Like That" achieved gold certification in Canada.
