Kevin Okyere is a Ghanaian entrepreneur in the oil industry in Ghana
Born in 1980, he began his journey by selling iced water to football enthusiasts while pursuing his education at Opoku Ware Senior High School. Later, he pursued an Accounting degree at George Mason University in Virginia. Okyere, a Ghanaian graduate, diligently studied Accounting at George Mason University and gained practical experience in various fields, including caregiving, security, and mailroom positions
Okyere returned to Ghana in 2004 and joined his elder sister's business. He founded Westland Alliance Ltd, a telecoms company providing international call routing services for AT&T and other international calling card companies.
He is the owner of Springfield Energy, a leading fuel importer in Ghana that has been importing refined petroleum products since 2008, generating over $1 billion in trading business.
He is the Founder and CEO of Springfield Energy, a billion-dollar oil company.
In 2012, Okyere applied for an oil block in Ghana, targeting WCTP2, which had proven reserves. Kosmos Energy and Tullow Oil had relinquished WCTP2 following Jubilee unitization.
Springfield, led by Kevin, was awarded West Cape Three Points Block 2 by Ghana's government in 2016. The company exports refined products to neighboring countries and was named "Man of the Year" in the Oil and Gas category.
