She attended St. Martin De Porres Basic School and later continued her education at Achimota School, where she was an active member of the Scripture Union. She holds a BSc Midwifery degree from the University of Ghana and earned her Master's degree from Anglia Ruskin University in 2019.

Although she faced an early eviction, this experience led her to meet the renowned Ghanaian Sound Engineer/Executive Producer, JMJ Baby. Through JMJ's label, Xtra Large Music, Kaakie signed her first record deal and began her professional music career.
