Isaac Asiamah was born in Mampong, GhanaHe studied geography and political science at the University of Ghana in Legon, where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in 2000. His master's degree in governance and leadership was earned at the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration, where he also received his diploma in 2008.

As a candidate for the NPP in the Atwima Mponua constituency elections in 2005, Asiamah made his political debut in Ghana at a young age. He was the youngest member of parliament in Ghanaian political history when he won the seat at age 29.Francisca Oteng-Mensah, who was elected to parliament in 2016 at the age of 23, is now the youngest member.
