He won his initial election, and in 2020, he secured re-election. His fame spread globally in 2022 when he mercilessly ridiculed Harry Maguire, the defender of Manchester United and the England national team, drawing a comparison to Mahamudu Bawumia, the Vice President of Ghana. He humorously referred to Bawumia as an "Economic Maguire" due to the own goals scored in their country's economy.
