Herbert Krapa

Herbert Krapa is a Ghanaian lawyer, governance, and legal expert who served as Government Spokesperson on Governance and Legal Affairs at the Ministry of Information until December 2020. He is currently a Deputy Minister at the Ministry of Trade and Industry.

Hon. Krapa earned his bachelor's degree in law from the University of Ghana and his master's degree in law from the London School of Economics and Political Science in the UK, where he focused on corporate crime, international finance, secured financing, and international commercial arbitration.


Additionally, he has a certificate in human rights law from Fordham University in New York and a master's degree in development finance from the University of Ghana Business School.

Honoured as Development Chief

The Chiefs and residents of Dayikope in the Nkwata South Constituency of the Oti Region honored Herbert Krapa as Development Chief and bestowed upon him the title Dunenyofia.

According to the Chief, Togbe Atavi, the gesture was intended to show Mr. Krapa his thanks for being the first national government official to pay them a visit.
