Education

Henry Quartey's educational journey began at Hams Secondary School in Dansoman and Zams Secondary/Technical School in Bolgatanga. He completed his G.C.E. O'level at Osu Presbyterian Senior High School. His pursuit of knowledge didn't end there, as he later enrolled in the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration, where he obtained a postgraduate certificate in Public Administration.

Professional Background

Before diving into full-time politics, Henry Quartey was the CEO of Krafty Hospitality Services Limited in Accra, a role he has continued to hold. His journey in the business world began as the Sales and Marketing Manager of B.B.C Trading from 1992 to 1996. Quartey later assumed the position of Regional Director at Dalebrook Company Limited from 1997 to 1998. His varied experiences also include being the Sales Manager and Director of Pecoll Aluminium Systems from 1995 to 2000.

Previous Parliamentary Tenures

His political career took flight in 2012 when he contested for the Ayawaso Central Constituency seat under the NPP banner in the Sixth Parliament of the Fourth Republic of Ghana. Quartey's impressive campaign and dedication to his constituents earned him the victory, marking the beginning of a promising political career. He went ahead to stand again in 2016 and retained his seat.
